Secondary (Junior High / Middle and High School) Home School Curricula
Science and Critical Reading
1-3 Hours per day
Learning how to critically engage with science, high-level research language, and explanations of how the world around us works forms the critical foundations of higher-level understanding.
Language and Humanities
1-2 Hours per day
Polaris curriculum includes the classics iand global history, an understanding of economics and civics. It includes English reading and critical writing, with a focus on grammar and vocabulary for standardized tests. It also includes a foreign language, which for Grades 6-12 is Mandarin Chinese.
Math and Engineering
2-3 Hours per day
Polaris engages students in both the conceptual basis, but also in high level applied math, aiming to provide each student with statistics and calculus before the end of 12th grade, and engage in an engineering capstone project.

Autonomous Learning
— For student with supervised work
Daily curricula based on the latest-research, compliant with state standards, and preparing students for the job market or tertiary education, with self-checked assignments, weekly and monthly projects to be checked by a parent/guardian for progress.

Guided Learning
— For students without supervised work
Not an online school, but home schooling with a faculty guide who will provide daily check-in updates, notify parent/guardian weekly regarding progress, strengths and weaknesses, and importantly provide graded work with feedback to help a student grow.
